See the future (and your peers) at Pipe + Tube Omaha

Oct 15, 2024

This year’s Pipe and Tube Conference offers tube fabrication and production professionals a golden opportunity to improve their business savvy and connect with industry peers.

Scheduled for Nov. 13-14 at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha, Neb., this year’s conference includes breakout sessions on vital topics like robotics, automation, the latest inspection technology, and how to retain young talent in a volatile and rapidly changing labor market.

“Finding great employees and the differences between generations that are now in the workforce are always hot topics,” said Audrey Long, senior manager of education and the FMA Store. “The Gen Z Panel discussion will give you the opportunity to hear from members of the Gen Z workforce on their views and what things would make the multigeneration workforce more cohesive.”

A special bonus this year is a choice of three Omaha-area plant tours:

Attendees also will hear a keynote from manufacturing industry lobbyist and insider Omar Nashshibi about the state of the industry, keys from the elections results, and what’s ahead for manufacturers in the coming months. Nashashibi, founding partner of the Franklin Partnership, was featured earlier this year on The Fabricator Podcast.

Whatever their company role, from machine operator to CEO, attendees are sure to find something to make the trip to Omaha more than worthwhile.

“FMA’s Pipe and Tube Conference is a long-running program dating back to 2007,” Long said. “It always brings the different sectors of the industry together for updates to technology, interactive discussions, and key networking opportunities.

“We’ve listened to our past attendees and have shortened the conference to reduce days needed out of the office to attend, as well as reduced the registration and exhibit fees to make the conference more affordable.”
